Wadi Dayqah Dam Water Treatment Plant - Deem Reservoir Water Transmission Pipeline Project

This project involves construction of water transmission pipeline from the water treatment plant of Wadi Dayqah Dam at Mazari in Wilayat Qurayyat to Deem Reservoir in Muscat Governorate. It includes two main lines and other sub-lines. The first main line is about 15 kilometers in length, with a 1,200mm pipeline from the water purification plant in Wadi Dayqah Dam to the strengthening pumping station number 2 in Quriyat and a 35 Km long with a 1,600 mm pipe Km water transmission pipeline with a 10,000 cu.m water reservoir. The expected maximum input capacity of the plant will be 125mn lt per day (Ml/d), and maximum throughput of 134Ml/d. Additionally, a 70,000 m3 capacity treated water storage tank will be built. The operation contract of the project will be for a period of ten years. The second main water line is about 35 kilometers long with a 1,600mm pipeline from strengthening pumping station number 2 to Diem water tank in Amerat.
