Umm Shaif Gas Cap Condensate Project
Thsi project involves development of Umm Shaif Gas Cap Condensate infrastructure located 84-kilometer north-west of Abu Dhabi Islands. The scope of the project includes a gas processing platform, a separation platform, a riser platform, a wellhead platform, flare and water disposal towers and subsea pipelines and cables. The project incorporates gas preparing stage, a detachment stage, a riser stage, a wellhead stages, flare and water transfer towers and subsea pipelines and links. ADNOC Offshore is developing the project on a fast-track basis and targeting the start of production as soon as 2022. Post completion, the project will have a production capacity of 500 million cubic feet of gas per day. This production rate will meet Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Co. Ltd.'s (Adgas) requirements for the its new third LNG train on Das Island. ADNOC offshore has received expressions of interest (EOI) from at least six leading offshore contractors to participate in the FEED work of the project.A formal FEED tender is expected to be issued by September 2018 after the prequalification process concludes. Two to three short-listed EPC players or consortia are expected to be handed contracts by ADNOC Offshore to participate in the design competition by carrying out front-end engineering and design studies. The FEED competition will eventually lead to a prized EPC deal which is likely to be awarded before the end of 2018.
