Umm Alhoul Special Economic Zone Development Project - Phase 1A
This project is in Qatar. The three economic zones will be located at different locations, with focus on logistics and air freight facilities and companies. It includes a 34 square kilometre zone at Umm-Alhoul, which adjoins the New Port Project, just south of Wakrah, which will target companies from the petrochemical sectors through to maritime operations and logistics. A second smaller project, Ras Bufontas, will be located next to the new airport, and cover a total area of 4 square kilometres. This zone is aimed to attract air freight and logistics companies. The third zone will be located just south of the current Doha Industrial area.
