The Circle Mall will be built within the Jumeirah Village Circle at Plot No. JVC11VCP200, located between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and Hessa Street. The project is about Construction of a shopping mall comprising approximately (235) retail outlets, consisting of 2 basements, a ground floor, 2 upper floors and roof. It will be spread over an area of more than 432,000 square feet. The Circle Mall will be located in District 11 between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and Hessa Street and will cover square feet. In total there will be 235 shops, a supermarket, two department stores, a health clinic, a food court and a multi-screen cinema complex. New malls underway include Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah, Deira Islands Mall, The Circle Mall at JVC and a mall at neighbouring Jumeirah Village Triangle. The property developer is also expanding its existing retail projects. Spanning an area of one million square feet, the Circle Mall will have about 200 shops, a supermarket, two department stores, a multi-screen cinema and a food court. The retail development will mainly cater to the residents in NakheelÂ’s Jumeirah Village Circle community. The two basement floors include car parking, water tanks and rooms for various MEP services. The ground floor includes entrance lobby, retail units, supermarket and rooms for various MEP services. Level 1 includes retail units, cinema, anchor units and rooms for MEP services. Level 2 includes the retail units, kids' play area and rooms for MEP services. The roof includes mechanical services. The total built-up area will be 1,160,168 square feet. Hiring has been awarded a contract to undertake the design, engineering and supervision services for the scheme. A tender for the main construction contract is expected to be issued in first quarter of 2015.
