This project involves development of The Central District at Al Waab City in Qatar. Al WaÂ’ab City is one of the largest privately-held real estate projects being developed in Qatar. Development of a mixed-use project comprising cinema, food courts, residential apartments and villas. Al WaÂ’ab City incorporates a diverse residential mix of over 2,000 villas and apartments, more than 200,000 square meters (2.2 million square feet) of commercial space and over 100,000 square meters (1.1 million square feet) of retail space, including a one-of-a-kind concept mall. Al WaÂ’ab city will eventually be home to over 8,000 people, offering a safe and well-maintained environment. It is being jointly developed and will comprise 3 components: Jawharat Al Waab, Abraj Al Waab and Riyad Al Waab. - Jawharat Al Waab is a unique, 100,000 square meter all-weather lifestyle destination with a 6-screen cinema, food courts, restaurants, cafes and haute cuisine. - Abraj Al Waab consists of (783) apartments, spaced over 9 medium-rise buildings. - Riyad Al Waab is an urban village consisting of a community of (79) villas, (391) apartments and (42) townhouses. The 3-year contract has an estimated value of approximately $14.6 million.
