Terminal 2 Expansion Project - Sharm El-Sheikh Airport
This project involves the expansion of Terminal 2 at Sharm El-Sheikh Airport in Egypt. Scope entails carrying out work on the airport's passenger building and the main hall. The project involves the expansion of terminal 2 and construction of a new runway at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, to increase its capacity by millions passengers per year. The expansion would increase the airportÂ’s capacity to 18 million passengers annually and will include building a new 60-meters wide runway for large aircraft's and 40 new air-sides. On completion, the airport's capacity will also increase by three million visitors. The redesign venture is gone for further upgrading Egypt's air transport part, which is essential to the nation's improvement. It will improve the nature of administrations, and repeat the air terminal's job as a provincial centre point. It will likewise enable the air terminal to deal with expansive body airplane, for example, Airbus, Super Jumbo and Boeing. Local Arab Contractors has been appointed as the main contractor. Work is expected to be completed within a year.
