The DN001 Bani Hajer North (Phase 1 & 2), Package 02 project is located in Al Rayyan Municipality, approximately 10 kilometers to the West of Central Doha and within the Qatar Area Referencing System (QARS) Zone 51. The site boundary is defined to the East by Gharrafat Al Rayyan Street (Al Nassria Link Road) and further to the South by Al Terhab Street. The scheme has been split into Phase 1 & 2, which is separated by land allocated to Qatar Foundation for Education City. The relevant packages are: - For Package 1 (Phase 1 & 2) - the approximate length if 4,545 meters for 64-meter corridor and pipe length of 10,035 and micro-tunneling length of 735 meters. - For Package 2 - the approximate length is 3,039 meters for 40-meter corridor, for 20-meter corridor approximate length of 979 meters, and 32 meters corridor approximate length of 905 meters. However, (2 Nos.) water tanks to be constructed and pipe length of 54,189 and micro-tunneling length of 5,574 meters. Local HBK Contracting Company has been appointed as the main contractor.
