Public Works Authority - Qatar (Ashghal) plans to develop Al Froosh To Al Kharaitiyat Road and related infrastructure works, as part of Doha North Zone of the new Local Roads and Drainage Programme in Al Kharatiyat, Al Froosh, Doha, Qatar. The project will serve 619 land plots. The project covers the construction of 18 km local roads network and a 33 km sewage network in Al Froosh and Al Kharaitiyat. Work will commence in July 2017 and are expected to be completed in Q2 2019. The project will provide main infrastructure facilities for the areas, including roads, sewage networks, street lighting, electricity and water networks, and the infrastructure needed for the provision of communications networks in the future. Local Company has been appointed as the main contractor.
