Riyadh Outlet Village project in Saudi Arabia will comprise a traditional souq (marketplace) where Saudi designers and skilled artisans would display their products. The project is about Construction of a traditional market (Souq). The project will be financed by a closed investment fund worth $67 million through one of SaudiÂ’s largest financial companies. The new complex is being developed as a themed multipurpose shopping, recreational and cultural destination. It will cover an area of 160,000-square-meters located on King Fahd Road, north of Riyadh. Riyadh Outlet Village will be a themed multi-purpose shopping complex that will include recreational, entertainment, and dining options as well as a traditional Saudi souk, spread across an area. The project will be financed by a closed investment fund worth $67m (SAR250m) through one of SaudiÂ’s largest financial companies. The complex will also have prime brands of home appliances, furniture, sporting goods. The concept design of the project is currently under development; while the developer estimates the total volume of contracting works to be around $80 million. Client is currently in talks to select contractors for the execution of the infrastructure and the upper structure buildings. It is also in discussions with an international operator and outlet management firm for the project.
