Rawdat Rashed Road Project (Phase 4) - Salwa & Dukhan Bridges (QS016-P04)
This project is in Qatar. The project is about construction of Rawdat Rashed Road with link bridges. The project comprises four phases that aim to develop Rawdat Rashed Road with a total length of 33 km and three lanes in each direction. Three phases are already complete and phase 4 is now under construction.The project aims to provide a developed and safe road to connect Salwa Road and Dukhan Highway, and push traffic away from Rawdat Rashed residential area. Phase 4 will link Rawdat Rashed Road with the existing bridge at the intersection with Salwa Road, where a new bridge will be constructed parallel to the existing one for more traffic capacity. The road will also be connected to the exising bridge at the intersection with Dukhan Highway (Exit no. 42 - Lebsayyer Interchange) and a new bridge will be also constructed to accommodate the expected traffic flows. The road includes three lanes in each direction, and is constructed as per the highest engineering standards. In addition, a 3-km long road with two lanes in each direction has been constructed, heading eastward to an existing road that ultimately leads to Al-Sheehaniya area. The Public Works has declared the culmination of Phase 3 of the Rawdat Rashed Road Development Project, which is gone for giving a "safe, exceptionally created street" to interface Salwa Road with Dukhan Highway. The street is currently completely open to traffic, leader of the Southern Areas Section in Ashghal's Roads Projects Department, said Phase 3 of the task included the development of a 14km-long street, broadening north from the finish of Phase 2 at the new indirect found north of Rawdat Rashed town, up to Lebsayyer Interchange on Dukhan Highway. The street incorporates three paths toward every path and has been built "as per the most noteworthy designing models.
