Invitation to submit qualification for the Qatar Public Private Partnership Schools development program - Package 1 - (PROJECT ID: BA 2019 C 001 G). The Ministry of Finance (MoF) and Ministry of Education & Higher Education (MoEHE) (Contracting Authority) is planning the implementation of the Qatar Public Private Partnership Schools Development Program (PPP Program). The Contracting Authority has appointed Public Works Authority as it Nominated representative (Nominated Representative) for the procurement, design and construction phase. In line with above objective, the Contracting Authority has identified 45 schools to be implemented under a PPP framework. The ministry has invited local and international companies from the private sector to take part in a workshop on January 28 where details of the projects will be provided to participating companies. The 45 schools are divided into 6 packages, each consisting of 6-8 schools. Each package will be implemented as a separate PPP Project, on behalf of the Contracting Authority, therefore invites parties to submit their qualifications for Package 1 of the Qatar schools PPP Development Program (Project) for the Design, Build, Finance, Operation, Maintenance and Transfer of the 8no. schools in Package 1, as listed below: 01 Secondary School Girls - Al Wakra - 25,141 Site Area (m2) 02 Preparatory School Boys - Al Khisa / Rawadat Al Hamam 29,375 Site Area (m2) 03 Secondary School Girls Umm Salal Mohammed 19,426 Site Area (m2) 04 Preparatory School Girls Bu Fesseela 27,543 Site Area (m2) 05 Primary School Girls Al Wukair 29,717 Site Area (m2) 06 Secondary School Boys Al Khisa/ Rawadat Al Hamam 38,659 Site Area (m2) 07 Primary School Boys Al Wukair 33,885 Site Area (m2) 08 Secondary School Girls Rawdat Al Naisar 24,693 Site Area (m2) SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of services will include but will not be limited to: Design, Construction, Project Financing, Operation & Maintenance (Hard & Soft Facilities Management), Transfer back to the Contracting Authority. The Request for Qualification Document (RFQ) can be downloaded without charge which comprises the followings: 1. Anti-Corruption and Confidentiality Declaration. 2. Qualification Procedures and Services Requirements During the bidding period, the Bidders shall visit the above Public Works Authority website frequently for updates, tender circulars and/ or addenda, if any. The closing date for submitting the Statement of Qualification is in accordance with the requirements set out in the Request for Qualification Document shall be no later than Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm (local Doha time, GMT +3:00). Statements of Qualification must be in the format as specified in the Request for Qualification Document.
