This project involves construction of a water network involving installation of pipelines and supports, construction of water storage facilities and associated civil & infrastructure works at Sabya area in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A Local Trading & Contracting Company has been appointed as the main contractor. The agreement additionally covers various measures to modernize the whole consumable water arrangement of the city and its hinterland. For instance, the expansion of the catchment in the stream Esmeraldas, multiplying the present length of the spillway to catch 3,200 liters for each second, the establishment of siphons and new potabilization modules, the advancement of the present consumable water plant and the development of another drinking water siphoning station. It additionally covers fixes to the accumulation tanks and new sewerage and channeling frameworks. Work is expected to be completed by Q3, 2019.
