This project involves construction of Pixel Towers at Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. The project is about Construction of seven mixed-use residential towers with a total built-up area of 83,000 square meters offering (480) residential units. It is part of the Makers District. The development will include more than 3,500 square meters of commercial, food & beverage, and retail space. It incorporating over 15,000 square meters of commercial and retail space, the project will offer future residents and visitors access to retail, co-working, artisanal, community and commercial areas on the ground, first and second floors. the typical ‘penthouse’ approach is described as redefined: offering studio apartments to a younger generation on every level, and some of the more luxurious and larger apartments located facing the lively central plaza on the third to fifth floors. It will also include a water feature. Pixel Towers will be located near The Artery, a unique hybrid parking garage. Pixel project will offer 480 residential units within all seven mixed-use residential towers that are surrounded by pocket gardens and frame a centralized plaza. The plaza, on the other hand, will feature a mix of restaurants, retail shops and offices, as well as a signature water feature. Pixel is a vibrant destination, designed to offer its occupants a unique and soulful place to enrich their lives, collaborate in work and engage with their community. It is also a key milestone in journey to establish Makers District as the new beating heart of Abu Dhabi and a place that reflects the best standards in building and design that will benefit end-users, and the wider community. A tender for the main construction contract is expected to be announced by Q2, 2018. The project is expected to be operational by Q4, 2020.
