Offshore Infrastructure & Early Offshore Works Project - Hail & Ghasha Offshore Gas Fields
This project involves development of sour gas from the offshore Hail and Ghasha fields in Abu Dhabi. The scope comprises construction of 10 new artificial islands and two causeways, as well as to expand an existing Al Ghaf island. The task's extent of work includes the development of harsh gas stores found seaward in the Arabian Gulf, around 90 kilometers and 130 kilometers toward the west of Abu Dhabi. The Hail and Ghasha venture is intended to introduce 1 billion cubic feet daily (cf/d) extra gas limit from sharp gas supplies at the seaward fields. The task incorporates at least eleven seaward counterfeit islands to be planned and built. The Hail and Ghasha harsh gas fields are a piece of the more extensive north-west territory. Real work is being intended to make various counterfeit islands that will empower the administrator to build up the locales, and, at last, produce and exchange gas and condensate from the two fields. The gas and condensate that is extricated from the fields will help address the rising interest for power inside United Arab Emirates. Client has invited companies to bid for the contract to reclaim a series of offshore islands for the development of these two sour gas fields. The companies that have prequalified to bid for the contract that involves dredging and rock works are from : Greece, Belgium, South Korea, local UAE, Netherlands, China.
