This project is in Al Ain. The venture includes development of the New Al Ain Hospital that will have agreeable beds, of which will be devoted for restoration. Being based on the subject of a 'Recuperating Oasis', the new office is intended to join the neighborliness of a desert spring town with best in class medicinal administrations. Spread across 347,000 square meters, the new facility will replace the existing hospital, which currently has (412) beds and (30) medical departments and divisions. The project is about Construction of new state-of-the-art Al Ain Hospital comprising (719) beds providing general medicine, surgery, a dedicated children's ward, maternity, ICU, medical rehabilitation, VIP patients and royal suites. It is managed by Medical University of Vienna and VAMED. The new hospital will include (104) advanced specialized clinics, (17) radiology rooms for X-ray, CT Scan and MRI services, as well as (22) specialized rooms for endoscopy procedures and diagnosis. Designated arrangement in the new hospital are (484) beds for general medicine, surgery, children's ward and maternity, (67) for ICU, (142) for medical rehabilitation and (26) for VIP patients and royal suites. The scheme consists of a main hospital, a central morgue that will serve the needs of Eastern Region, a mosque, a centre for logistics services, a 60-MW power station, in addition to an underground parking lot accommodating up to 1,500 cars. Being built on the theme of a 'Healing Oasis', the new facility is designed to combine the friendliness of an oasis village with state-of-the-art medical services. Once complete, this new hospital will serve as the Regional Centre of Excellence for Rehabilitation with the first stroke unit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and a centre of excellence in trauma, orthopaedics and sports medicine. With its upgraded academic facilities, Al Ain Hospital will have the infrastructure to become a research centre and teaching hospital affiliated with the United Arab Emirates University. The planning and design of this new hospital has been done by SwitzerlandÂ’s Healthcare, Germany and Engineering Consulting. The process of design and construction is being managed by Abu Dhabi-based Corporation.
