Postponed
Northern Emirates
Gas Processing
The project involves the development of an LPG terminal in Ras Al Khaimah. Upon completion, it will receive bulk LPG by ship, offload, transfer, store and distribute by road tankers, with a tanker loading capacity of 160 metric tonnes a day. The terminal will be designed for around 6000-8000 tonnes with one or more spheres installed within the plant area and room for future expansion.
Commercial bids for the main contract to build the terminal have been recently submitted. The commercial bids are being evaluated. A feasibility study is currently in progress to ascertain the project. Although the bidders will not be asked to re-submit the bids Client is expected to have extensive negotiations with bidders to suit any potential revised requirements. Even if the scope is revised, the client is expected to award the contract by the end of the first quarter next year.
