Fadhili Gas Processing Plant Project
This project is at Fadhili oil field in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The project is about Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build a sour gas processing plant with capacity of 2.5 billion cubic feet a day in Fadhili. The task includes the development of a gas preparing unit inside the Fadhili gas plant as a major aspect of the greenfield improvement program found 85km northwest of Jubail Industrial port in Saudi Arabia's eastern region. The Fadhili gas plant venture, a key achievement of the Kingdom's Master Gas System, is the country's drive to meet the developing vitality needs. Plant will process gas coming from Khusaniyah and Hasbah Fields. The project is about contract to build a sour gas processing plant with capacity of 2.5 billion cubic feet a day in Fadhili. This will include construction of a Hydro-treater and hydrogen plant, gas sweetening facilities, a pipeline network, storage facilities, natural gas liquids recovery, gas de-hydration facilities, as well as offsite and utilities. Invitation to bid (ITB) for the design and project management consultancy (PMC) contract has been issued on this scheme. A decision is expected in the late third or early fourth quarter of 2013 after which EPC tenders will follow. Project is expected to be completed in 2018.
