Das Island Facility Integration Project

  • OnGoing Project
  • Abu Dhabi
  • Gas Processing, Oil & Gas

This project is about replacement of damaged or corroded lines at Das Island in Abu Dhabi. It is being implemented by ADNOC Offshore, the client's offshore unit. Scope of work includes: • Replacement of the process piping header. • Temporary piping • Structural element replacement • Pipe rack replacement • Associated facilities. Abu Dhabi’s Target Engineering Construction Company will design, supply and build a new gas plant on Das Island that will process 245 million cubic feet of gas per day for domestic use. Stage I incorporated the development of a fourth gas lack of hydration unit and dry gas pressure aftercooler on Das Island, gas pipelines, with a 117-kilometer seaward portion and 114-kilometer inland section, condensate pipelines and changes to the Habshan gas handling complex. As indicated by Ehsan Khoman, Head of MENA Research and Strategy at MUFG Bank, the understanding plays into Adnoc's long haul methodology of persistently differentiating its tasks by seeking after chances to accomplish both operational effectiveness and upgraded execution. The pre-qualification process for the main contract is understood to have taken place last year. The prospective bidders are from UAE, Lebanon. Name of the bidders has not been revealed. Client has invited companies to submit commercial bids for the main contract.
