Central Processing Facility Construction - Yibal Khuff Project
The project involves construction of a new central processing facility, will be located at Yibal Khuff project, 350 km southwest of Muscat. In 2015, Petrofac was awarded its second contract with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the Yibal Khuff project, a field located approximately 350 km south west of Muscat. Like the Rabab Harweel Integrated Project, Petrofac is giving designing, acquisition, development the board and charging bolster benefits on a reimbusable premise with motivations, which implies our benefit is connected to the accomplishment of explicit achievements and a potential increase share on acquirement. The on-plot facilities include: • Central processing facility • Two-phase inlet separator to receive and separate liquid and gas • Acid gas removal unit • Gas dehydration and RSH removal unit • Gas conditioning unit • Gas export facilities • Nitrogen Removal Unit • Export gas compression • Acid Gas Enrichment Unit • Two 65% sulphur recovery units • Sulphur degassing and incinerator • Sulphur storage and sulphur blocking facility • Oil handling system • Water handling system comprising two 100% sour water stripping, water storage and disposal pumps • A 50 MW power plant • Water Wells • A closed chilled water cooling medium system • Steam generation and distribution for Mo and LP level with 2 MP auxiliary boilers • A utility complex including raw water treatment facilities to produce demineralised and boiler feed water, closed drain system, instrument and breathing air systems, fire water, and nitrogen generation • A waste and produced water disposal pipeline • Flare system • Drain Systems • Waste handling and effluent treatment facility Local Engineering has been awarded the main contract, worth an estimated $299 million. Duration of the contract is (51) months.
