This project involves construction of Burjeel Medical City, which will be located within Mohammed Bin Zayed City and cover a gross floor area of 82,000 square meters. The project is about Construction of a Medical City comprising (400) beds, including a long-term care facility, long-term care villas, an administrative building and a mosque. At the center of the Medical City lies the Main Hospital with its basement, 4 podiums, 4 towers and a helipad for airborne patient transport. This landmark project focuses on ultra-specialized domains like Oncology, Long-Term Care, and Wellness. Main Hospital Building which is composed of one basement floor, Ground floor and 4 towers with 7 floors each. The building will accommodate outpatient clinics, Radiology Oncology ,10 Operation theatres, Intensive Care Units, Physio Rehabilitation, Maternity, Pediatric, Imaging, Laboratory, General and Internal Medicine, ENT, Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiology and several other professional medical departments, in addition to the 244 inpatient beds in 4 separate towers, underground parking, medical support services, helipad and etc. It also includes an advanced imaging department, an emergency department, endoscopy, a rehabilitation center with prosthetic and orthodontics services, outpatient clinics, a large retail area, and state-of-the-art operating theaters as well as associated critical care areas. Tower 1 will be an Oncology hospital with separate wings for radiation, surgical and medical oncology. The second tower will be an acute care hospital with dedicated clinics. The third and fourth towers, currently in planning stage, will be long-term care hospitals. The fifth tower will offer post-graduate courses in medicine and residency, while the sixth tower will offer administrative services. The client's internal designing team will work on biomedical structuring of the city. The master-planner and architects are being finalized. Once complete, Burjeel Medical City is expected to become the largest private Medical Healthcare Facility in Abu Dhabi.
