This project involves expansion of the existing Al Noor Hospital, which includes (100) beds. And located at Sector No. W67 on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi. Al Noor's Khalifa Street Hospital site was built after the conversion of 79 flats within an existing building. The hospital will take over the rest of the building, converting 72 flats, and using the ground and mezzanine floors to expand its emergency care and outpatient departments. Al Noor Hospitals has agreed to long-term leases worth about Dh1 billion with its landlord, Al Saqr Property Management, that will allow it to expand its three main hospitals in Abu Dhabi as it taps into one of the fastest-growing healthcare markets in the region. A joint venture of Mideast and International Construction has been awarded the main construction contract. It is understood that the MEP contractor will be appointed in November 2016. The scheme is expected to be completed by December 2017.
