The project's scope of work consist of a 3-storey union cooperative society building, will be located opposite Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Center in Al Khawaneej in Dubai. Union Co-operative Society in Dubai is expecting to extend its branches in various regions of the emirate, notwithstanding building a mosque, before Expo 2020, at a complete expense of over Dhs254 million. Executive of Marketing and Communication Department, said that the Society would do extension extends in six new zones in Dubai, including the opening of five branches, and a mosque. The development comes in accordance with the Expo 2020, and the occasion's normal extensive turnout, in Dubai, yet at the nation level. The projects will include opening a branch in Umm Suqeim on an area of 15,000 square metres at a cost of Dhs50 million. The branch provides a parking area for 119 vehicles. The second branch will be in Abu Hail. It will be constructed on an area of 17,000 square metres providing parking lots for 179 vehicles at a total cost of Dhs69 million. Project is currently under design stage. Main contract award is expected in mid 2018. Project is expected to be completed in 2019.
