Al Faisaliah Solar PV IPP

This tender service is located in the Makkah Province, approximately 80 km south of Jeddah city, Saudi Arabia. The project is about Construction of a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) with a capacity of 600 MW. Known as the Kingdom s National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), it is being undertaken by the Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO), a division of the client s office. The task includes the development of a sun oriented photovoltaic (PV) autonomous power plant with a limit in Mecca Province. The extent of work incorporates advancement, plan, allowing, designing, financing, obtainment, development, dispatching, testing, fruition, proprietorship, protection, activity and support. REPDO has invited expressions of interest (“EOI”) for the development, design, permitting, engineering, financing, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing, completion, ownership, insurance, operation and maintenance of the solar PV IPP. REPDO is being advised as Lead and Financial Adviser; DLA Piper Middle East as Legal Adviser; and as Technical Adviser. Interested parties should express their interest to participate in the tender process by 14 February, 2019. Interested parties should deliver their EOI in electronic copy in PDF format on the eProcurement Portal (“ePP”) which is the main communication interface used by REPDO throughout the tendering process. The EOI should specify as a minimum the following information: • Name of the interested party; • Name and contact details (postal address, telephone number, and e-mail address) for the appropriate point of contact (“Point of Contact”) to whom future correspondence may be sent; and • Where the interested party is considering potential consortium partners, an indication of such intention and details of potential consortium partners (to the extent it is known). Its planning to issue the RFQ by the end of February 2019. Tender documents will be issued two months after the prequalification process has started.
