The First Avenue Mall will be located on Plot No. 674-2010 at Dubai Motor City and cover a total built-up area of 44,418 square meters. Adjacent to Dubai Motor City's main pedestrian and vehicular thoroughfares, the mall offers a rich variety of outdoor and indoor experiences with an innovative mix of retail and dining concepts. Its architecture - a series of stepped and gently curved plazas - blends in seamlessly with existing buildings and the surrounding landscape. In addition to (30) retail outlets, there will be (15) restaurants and cafes, as well as a 150-room hotel - all distributed across the mall's two floors, with the basement level offering ample car parking. Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has been appointed as operator for the hotel. Contact Person: Mr. Izo Ulmann (Project Director). Submission of bids is currently underway for the main and MEP contracts.

December 4, 2017 Park Inn by Radisson Motor City, will open on December 20, 2017. The hotel and adjoining shopping mall are set to open in Motor City as part of an investment worth US $136.13 million (AED500 million) that will drive development in Dubai�s Motor City community. First Avenue also overlooks Dubai Autodrome, and will have 70 high-street retailers and 15 casual dining restaurants.
October 12, 2017 Interior works are currently in progress.
February 12, 2017 The project is nearing completion. Construction work will be completed by the end of this month, with fit-out for the retail units set to take another four months. The mall is expected to open in May 2017 along with the adjoining hotel, which will be operated by Park Inn by Radisson. It will comprise an all-day restaurant, lobby, meetings and events spaces, gymnasium, spa and swimming pool. The hotel overlooks the race track at Dubai Autodrome.
November 17, 2016 It is understood that this mall has signed up leading retailer Carrefour as a key anchor tenant ahead of the project's launch early next year. Carrefour, owned by Majid Al Futtaim, will open its new store, offering shoppers variety, value and convenience. It will occupy 15,000 square feet of space on the ground floor of the new mall's east side. The new supermarket will offer Carrefour's diverse product range at competitive prices, across food, beverage and essential household goods. Other major retailers will be announced in due course.
October 4, 2016 Work is progressing well on site, with the mall and hotel expected to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2017. During the fourth quarter of 2016, hand over of units to partner tenants in the mall is expected to take place. Superstructure is completed and last touch-ups of the MEP connections are underway. The last slab has been cast and touch-ups with regards to the swimming pool of the hostel and snagging in the superstructure are in progress. This will be followed by the glass and aluminum installation. The mall will comprise two floors, with about 30,000 square meters of built-up area and a 400-space car park. On-grade parking will be 70 spaces, with bicycle parking also available. Designed as a four-star hotel, the Park Inn will offer visitors a variety of choices, from 25 square meter rooms to 52 square meter suites. The four-storey property will also have conference rooms and business facilities targeted at the various business surrounding Motor City. The hotel rooms will start on second-storey of the property, which will also contain a gymnasium, spa and swimming pool on the roof.
