The scope of work of this project involves Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Water Distribution Network of Glass Reinforced Epoxy Pipe at various locations, including large meter connections and associated works located in Dubai. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has completed 109km of the project to supply, extend and commission water distribution networks. The total is 162km, with 67.3 per cent of the project completed so far in different parts of Dubai, at a total cost of $57.2mn (Dh210mn). The project includes 450- and 100-millimetre-diameter extensions of Glass-Reinforced Epoxy main water pipelines to provide continuous and stable water supplies that are reliable, efficient, and always available, to achieve the happiness of customers and stakeholders.
