Asset Enhancement Scheme - Area 3, Part 2 involves Construction of a deep gravity sewer from existing pumping stations PS 2/1 (central market, Hamdan Street) along Murror road until manhole MH A3-15 (Sheikh Zayed Street), which includes intercepting sewage flows from existing sewers (3 tapping locations) and existing pump stations PS 2/1 and PS 2/2 in Abu Dhabi Island. It also includes connection to existing pipeline under Contract O-11385, at MH A3-15, Area Part 1. 1.800 mm dia concrete encased GRP pipeline, length 361 m. 2.900 mm dia concrete encased GRP pipeline, length 40 m. 3.1000 mm dia concrete encased GRP pipeline, length 319 m. 4.1200 mm dia concrete encased GRP pipeline, length 2057 m. 5.1600 mm dia concrete encased GRP pipeline, length 2275 m. •Construction of manholes within NDM pits and the provision of ports for the future connection from new/future developments. •Construction of driving and receiving pits. •Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of penstocks (2 no’s). •Abandonment and decommissioning of existing pumping stations PS 2/1 and PS 2/2 along with associated fittings and accessories. •Supply, installation, and monitoring geotechnical instrumentation for all buildings, structures and services likely to be affected by the works, Performance of pipejack/microtunnelling equipment, Pipeline ovality sections at selected locations for newly constructed pipelines, All shafts and excavations deeper than 5m unless stated otherwise. •Conduct Dilapidation Survey •Testing, commissioning and handing over of the project.
