This project, dubbed as the 'visionary stadium', is likely to be located in the southern area of Sakhir in Bahrain. Construction of an integrated sports stadium with capacity to seat 50,000 seater football stadium, a multipurpose hall that can seat 10,000 people, halls for individual sports, Olympic-size swimming pools, football training pitches and and facilities to accommodate basketball, handball, bowling, badminton and table tennis, A shopping complex. The stadium could also help Bahrain enter the race to host Asian Cup championships and turn into a focal tourist point. The scheme is currently in planning stage.
