The scope of work of this project involves construction of a sewerage network and pipeline, will be located at Aziziyah neighbourhood (10,11), Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. (Contract no 8B-3). Bids have been submitted for the main contract. Mechanical works includes: Surface drainage and vitrified clay (VC) gully connections average depth 1.5m, 15.4 km perforated VC land drains, average depth 4.0 – 4.5 m, 10.8 km solid VC drains, depth 4.0 - 4.5 m, 3.3 km reinforced concrete (RC) pipes diameter 800 - 1200 mm at depths between 3.5- 8.0 m, Manholes: 372 Nr, Road gullies: 1074 Nr, Microtunneling - 2.3 km RC GRP lined surface drainage diameter 1.0 - 1.4 m, depth 8 - 13 m, Microtunneling - 1.7 km RC GRP lined surface drainage diameter 2.0 m, average depth 20 m.
