Ras Al Khaimah IWP
This tender is in pre-qualification stage. The project is in Jazeera Al Hamra in Ras Al Khaimah. EPC contract to build a Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Independent Water Project (IWP) with capacity of 24 million gallons of potable water a day. The project covers the construction of the world's largest privately held seawater desalination plant producing 24 million gallons of potable water per day. This will be the worldÂ’s first-ever green desalination facility. The desalination plant will be the greenest desalination plant with the least CO2 emissions. The water re-use saving can save 33,280 tonnes of CO2 per year. Interested parties may collect the pre-qualification documents until December 10, 2013.
