Petrochemical Complex - Duqm Refinery & Petrochemicals Complex (Phase 2)
The project is about Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build a petrochemical refinery with capacity of 230,000 barrels per day, at Al Wusta Region in Oman. This is phase 2 of the project in which the construction work includes: • 1.2 million tonnes per year of polypropylene • 800,000 tonnes per year styrene • 2.8 million tonnes per year aromatics • Processing facilities • Utility Tanks Client has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with an Abu Dhabi's Petroleum Investment Company to develop the scheme. An UK’s Technology has been appointed to carry out feasibility study on this scheme.
