Orbital Highway & Truck Route Project - Contract 4
This project is a part of construction of 200 kilometre highway connecting Ras Laffan Industrial City with Mesaieed region in Qatar - Contract 4. South Korea's Daewoo Engineering & Construction has been awarded the main contract worth $910 million to build a part of this contract. Scope of work involves the construction of road from fourth zone linking the Al Khor link road and Dukhan Highway, a 42-kilometre stretch of the road that will have five interchanges and numerous bridges. The 14-lane road will have smart road traffic controls and the latest waste-water treatment systems. The project is expected to take 35 months to complete.
