This project involves construction of Block 49, an onshore oil field covering an area of 15,439 sq kms located in southern Oman bordering Saudi Arabia. The block has a historical significance as the first exploration well in Oman was drilled within its boundaries. The field will be monitored by the use a new digital system designed to provide a “Living Data Room” .Client has signed an exploration and production sharing agreement with Swedish-based Tethys Oil to develop this block. Under this agreement, the company has agreed to undertake geological and geophysical studies along with 2D and 3D seismic acquisition and drill wells during exploration periods.
