This project involves development of a beachfront resort located at Jumeirah Beach near Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The resort that will contain two million square feet of built-up space, includes an MGM Hotel, MGM-branded residences and a Bellagio-branded hotel containing a total of 1,000 rooms and 10 villas. There will also be a 500,000 square feet theatre, a range of restaurants, museums, a major beach club and adventure zones for both adults and children. Some early enabling works are ongoing at the site in recent months, with local Contracting Company preparing the site for construction work. This involved removing and demolition work that was previously done on the island. The project was launched on 22 March 2017 and work is set to begin later in the year. It is expected to take four years to complete.
