This gas processing plant will be built at the Ratawi and Bin Umar fields in Basra governorate of Iraq. Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to build a gas processing plant with capacity of 50 million cubic feet a day.The fields are estimated to have capacity to produce 70,000 barrels a day (b/d) of crude, with plans thought to be in place to boost oil capacity to 600,000 b/d. Canada's SNC Lavalin has been awarded an estimated $28 million contract to design the plant
