The Dubai Center for Research and Development of Fisheries (DCRDF) was designed to accommodate three primary functions: fish production and broodstock holding; research on fish culture and conservation of wild stocks; and public visits and educational experiences. The DCRDF consists of two zones: Public zone and Private zone. The Public zone includes Reception and Lobby, Administration offices, an exhibition area, an Amphitheatre and a coffee-restaurant area. The Private zone includes the Hatchery Complex Building (broodstock areas, larval and live food areas, weaning and nursery areas), the MEP Plantroom and Workshop building, the seawater pump station, the pumps and tanks building, the Quarantine building and the surrounding area.Total built area of the development is 10.000 sq.m. on a plot area of 79.500 sq.m. An award is expected by the end of second quarter of 2017. The development is expected to be completed in fourth quarter of 2018.
