The project involves the construction of a reverse osmosis desalination plant in Doha, which is about 20 km east of Kuwait city, by KuwaitÂ’s Ministry of Electricity and Water. Commissioning of the Doha Seawater Desalination Station by Reverse Osmosis with the Equipment for Increasing the Alkalinity of Produced Water (Phase 1). The plant will produce 270,000 m3/day of fresh water, which is sufficient to meet the needs of 900,000 residents.
