Dibba Fishery Harbor Development Project

This project will be located at Dibba in Musandam governorate of Oman. The project is about Development of a fishery harbour. The scope of work includes: - Bulk earthworks - Seabed dredging within port basin and approach channel - Reclamation to create land for infrastructure such as buildings, ship lift and marina facilities - Two rubble mound breakwaters - Quay walls, ship lift and other marine structures - Berthing facilities, including concrete floating pontoons, fenders, bollards and ancillary works - Design, supply and installation of navigation aids - Demolition of existing buildings and provision of temporary facilities - Roads - Utility corridors. The contract also covers construction of multiple buildings dedicated to office administration, fish auction, facilities, ferry terminal and ice plant, among others. Fishing is a traditional priority and the fishery harbour is a vital infrastructure for the Omani population. It has taken keen interest in this area and in the recent past won accolades as a marketing partner for a Turnkey Construction contractor for the Fishery Harbour built in record time. The fishery harbour has set new standards for the many more fishery harbours to come. The project involves the development of a fishery harbour at Dibba comprising the construction of the following: Administration Building, Fish Auction Hall, Facility Building (2), Prayer Hall, Net Repair Shed & Workshop, Ferry Terminal Building, Guard House, Ice Plant, Employer Building.
