The projectÂ’s scope of work involves construction of Four Indoor Primary Substations (33/11 KV) at Barka in Al Batinah South Governorate of Oman. Execution and Commissioning of the First 220kV Substations with 33/11 KV Auto Transformers and Substation Control Systems (SCS) in Barka, Filayj & MSQ under EPC Contract Northern Oman Transmission Development - Barka Transmission System for the Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water, Sultanate of Oman. A separate electrical team has been formed to handle electrical projects in the private domain. The contractor handles electrical installation, testing & commissioning for civil, road, infrastructure contractors and other private clients. The substation project is expected to be completed by Q2, 2019.
