Assima Mixed-Use Development Project
This project involves construction of Assima mixed-use scheme in Kuwait. It will include the 54-storey Assima Tower with an area ranging from 1,000-1,300 square meters and comprise more than (150) offices. The Assima Residence will serve as a long-stay hotel, targeting business customers, as well as regional and international tourists who would like to stay in close proximity to all of the main attractions in the country. Assima Residence will consist of (170 Nos.) one-bedroom suites and studios that are available for extended stay. Guests of Assima Residence will enjoy the facilities of a fully furnished, serviced, extended stay rental, while having easy access to the mall as well as the office tower. It will include the largest hypermarket in Kuwait City. The six levels Assima Mall will feature a mix of brands from contemporary, to high-street, many of which have yet to be introduced in Kuwait. The mall utilizes its outdoor spaces with finesse; there will be a range rooftop cafes and restaurants alongside the urban park perfect for the cooler months. The uniquely designed spaces will serve a range of cuisines, perfect for every taste and palate there will be a multitude of options to choose from, be it a quick bite, a leisurely lunch, or even a more contemporary meal. The mall is set to have an enormous lifestyle and leisure element, which will include a cinema, gymnasium, spa and great entertainment for the whole family. Located in the heart of Kuwait City, the shopping mall within the Assima Project is expected to open by February 2020. A year away from opening, the Assima Mall with 775,000 sqft of net retail space, is already 62% leased. It went up by another 10% in February, according to Alnafisi. The hotel high-end executive apartments by Marriott with 164 keys will be completed six months after the mall opens, followed by the office tower with 645,835 sqft of net area spread across 56 floors a year later, reveals Ghazi F. A Local Contracting & Trading Company has been appointed as the main contractor. 1st floor slab works are currently in progress.
