This project involves construction of a railway line between Abha and Jizan in Saudi Arabia. The project includes the construction of a 250 KM railway including other associated facilities. Although projects like building a railway in the southern region require a lengthier construction period, they are part of the ministryÂ’s main plan. One of the key projects under this plan is the landbridge, which will be offered to the private sector to build and operate it. The scheme is currently under study stage.
