This project will be located at Taweelah power and water complex, approximately 45 kilometers north of the city of Abu Dhabi. The project is about Construction of a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Independent Water Project with capacity of 200 million imperial gallons a day (MIGD). The task includes the development of Taweelah Reverse Osmosis (RO) Independent Water Plant (IWP), which will be arranged in Taweelah Power and Water Complex. Taweelah IWP will incorporate the development of two water desalination plants with a complete generation limit of 200 million gallons for every day. Client recently received bids from firms to provide technical advisory services for the proposed plant. The advisory contract will involve determining the final capacity of the plant and location. Client is planning to oversee the development of the planned IWP, which would be the emirate's first privately financed standalone desalination plant.
