This project will be developed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project is about Construction of 6,000 villas and associated infrastructure works. The development involves the construction of villas covering an area of 7 square kilometres to the east of Riyadh. Design review and construction supervision of housing units for the National Guard. The Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) is embarking on a Kingdom wide program of construction of townships for housing its officers and soldiers. Riyadh is responsible for the design review and construction supervision of six neighborhoods comprising of over 550 officer villas. Besides villas, project scope also includes all necessary support services such as sewage treatment, underground & above ground water tanks, irrigation water tanks, drinking & irrigation water networks, electricity stations & networks, telecommunication networks, road & walkways with lighting & landscaping, car parking, fences and gates. Associated infrastructure works include more than 160 km of roads, and a sewage treatment plant. ItalyÂ’s has been awarded a $1.3bn contract for the construction of housing. The contract is expected to be completed in five years.
