This project involves construction of Burjeel Hospital, located behind Lulu Hypermarket at Al Khor in Qatar. The project's scope of work consist of a 4-storey hospital building, will comprise of 88-hospital beds in it. The new facility will be a tertiary care center with several specialisations. The hospital will have an oncology department, first in the private sector in Qatar, along with centers of excellence in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, cardiology and cardiac surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics and reproductive medicine. It will cover a total built-up area of approximately 20,000 square meters. Burjeel Hospital has won laurels for its medical services in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Oman, and the new medical facility will be recognised as one of the leading hospitals in Qatar. This premier healthcare facility will provide world-class, specialised medical treatment and services to all communities. It will have all the core medical, paramedical and support services supplied by well-trained, accredited and skilled professionals. Most of the clinical teams are from prominent hospitals and universities from North America, Europe, and other continents. A Local Group has been appointed as the main contractor. Excavation works are currently in progress.
