Water Distribution Networks Construction Project - Rustaq
The project involves construction of Water Distribution Networks for Rustaq Wilayat in South Al-Batina Governorate, in Oman. The project's scope of work involves the supply and installation of 375-kilometer of pipelines, 17 ground reservoirs of up to 7,500-cubic meter of water, 27 elevated tanks of 1,500-cubic meter, 29 tanker filling stations, 17 chlorination facilities, 18 pump stations, 18 generator buildings, 5 administrative buildings, HT/LT overhead lines and substations. The project also includes construction of 30 waterworks campuses and 116-kilometer of MS pipes and 250-kilometer of DI pipes and 29 tanker filling stations. As part of the efforts of the General Electricity and Water Authority and its efforts to achieve the vision of the government to complete the implementation of infrastructure projects in the states to improve the level of services provided to citizens wherever they are and considering that water is an essential element in the process of development and development witnessed by the Sultanate, For RO 9 million. Preference shall be given to the Companies or Institutions which comprise the required percentage of Omanization and possible purchase of Omani National Products.
