Waste Heat Recovery Power & Water Plant Project
This project is in Abu Dhabi. The project is about the construction of a waste heat recovery plant, which would have a power generation capacity of 188MW and water desalination capacity of 14 million imperial gallons a day (MIGD) . According to sources familiar with the scheme, Takreer is currently assessing the feasibility of the proposed waste heat recovery plant. The project includes the installation of heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) as well as a new steam turbine and generator (STG) desalination unit. The project will provide additional power and fresh water to the facility when it comes on stream in 2023.
