The project is about Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to build villas, including public amenities and infrastructure works, as part of a residential development. This project involves execution of packages 3 & 4 of the Ajyal residential development in Dhahran in Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Aramco is building a mega development project in South Dhahran to host over 8,500 homes for employees estimated SR1.6bn ($426m) contract on the Ajyal residential development in Dhahran in Saudi ArabiaÂ’s Eastern province. EGEC was called to present its consultancy services for the 1st phase that includes infrastructure, utilities and more than 2200 residential villas integrated with open spaces and community facilities. Aramco is in negotiations with companies over the contract for the estimated $300m package 2. The scope of this package covers 700 villas, 12 additional buildings, public amenities and infrastructure works. Housing design, infrastructure including the detailed design for whole project till (IFC) design package.A joint venture of local group Contracting and China's has been awarded the main EPC contract worth $426 million.
