Villamar Residential Complex Project - Bahrain Financial Harbour

The project involves development of Villamar residential complex comprising three high-rise buildings, villas, and a series of landscaped terraces dropping towards the sea, luxurious bedroom apartments, and leisure and retail facilities. This complex will be built in the Bahrain Financial Harbour, being developed off the north coast of Manama. Villamar is one of the flagship projects that shape up BahrainÂ’s skyline and landmarks. Villamar is the most advanced and exclusive residential complex built on an island in the heart of the business district of Manama, the capital of Bahrain, and directly along the waterfront of the BFH. The scheme will be located on a plot in the harbour and include three elements: Three twisted towers with 54 storeys, 43 storeys and 52 storeys respectively on a 32,900 square metre site; (54 Nos.) four-five-bedroom Floating Villas; and the Terraced Podium, including (494 Nos.) one-four-bedroom apartments. Villamar The Harbor includes five main elements namely The Three Twisting Towers, Lifestyle Apartments, Terraced Villas, Terraced Podium and Sky Villas. The project is being implemented by Kuwait-based Company , a joint venture between local and Singapore-based Company. Invitation to bid for the main contract is expected to be issued in December 2006, with bid submission due in February 2007. An award is expected by June 2007, with construction due to commence in July 2007.
