Taqah - Mirbat Road Dualization Project
This project calls for the construction of dualization of Taqah – Mirbat Road in Dhofar Governorate in Oman. The project is about Construction of 35-kilometre dualization of Taqah - Mirbat road. The project involves construction of a long double lane carriageway including several flyovers and other facilities. The carriageway will connect Salalah with the wilayats of Sadah, Kasik and Shuwaymiyah on Dhofar's east coast. We thank the Ministry of Transport and Communications for their trust and awarding us the project. The road has been built to a very high-quality standards. The work involved dualisation of the single carriage way that started at Madinat Al Haq roundabout and ended at the newly built Mirbat roundabout on the road to Sadha. The new road will also lead to better connectivity to the wider road network and lead to the development and economic growth of the local area. It will also act as a gateway for greater growth opportunities and prosperity for the country as a whole. The Taqah-Mirbat road project includes three bridges, three tunnels for vehicles, 11 tunnels for animals, a 150m long bridge over Khur Ruri, in addition to two roundabouts.
