Sur IWP Expansion
Completed
Oman
Water
This project involves expansion of the Sur IWP in Oman. The plant, which produces 80,000 cubic meters per day of desalinated drinking water, through a reverse osmosis process provides 350,000 clean drinking water. Scope of work entails addition of 51,000 cubic meters to the current capacity, in order to reach 131,000 cubic meters per day, which will enable the supply of drinking water to around 600,000 residents. The process, which forces high pressured water through a semi-permeable membrane, separates salt, bacteria and other particles allowing clean water to filter through. Client has issued a tender to provide consultancy services on this scheme. Work involves providing project management and technical consultancy services during the construction, commissioning and testing of the project.
