Siba Gas Field Development Project
This project involves the development of Siba gas field in Al Basra, south of Iraq. The project consists with the task of Development of a gas field with capacity to produce 110 million cubic feet per day of gas. The undertaking requires the advancement of a gas field situated in Siba of Basra governorate, 30 km south-east of Basra city. It was found in year 1968, with and evaluated save limit of around 1.1 tcf gas. The field is spread over a territory about 21 km long and 6-13 km wide. The field during its advancement stage will expect to expand the field's creation. This project demonstrates that pre-fabricated modular equipment is a solution for monetising gas quickly, particularly in challenging conditions. The field will be developed in phases, starting with an initial early production facility (EPF), followed by a full production facility. The EPF will include: - A gathering system to tie-in in the available production wells. - A central gas processing plant (CPF) with a minimum capacity of 55 million cubic feet a day. - An export pipeline system for dry sales gas, liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and condensates. The full production facilities will include: - The completion of gathering system to connect new, existing and future wells to the CPF. - Expansion of the CPF to 100 million cubic feet a day. Client has signed an agreement to develop the field.
